Goodbye weekend...Hello Monday

The weekend came and went, and to say it was busy is an understatement.  Friday was my Girly Girls last day of school and awards day.  We joined her at school to watch her receive lots of awards; one of the most impressive was 4 years perfect attendance.  It gives me lots of pride that not missing a day of school is so important to her, which makes the mornings easier.  The day followed by riding in the truck with the Hubs for his work, and going around the world.  We ended up at a sports store to buy my Girly Girl a new bike for her hard work in school this year.  Saturday was kind of a bust; well I mowed grass for a couple of hours and then went to work.  The only thing that really made my day was that I got to see my Mom as she was passing though, which put a huge smile on my face.  Then Sunday followed the same way, more grass mowed & off to work. Now it’s Monday and I’ve got a day filled with clothes washing and of course there is more grass to be mowed. Least I’m healthy enough to get out & use the push mower & enjoy some sun on my skin.  Life is good!

Here's to a new begining...

It’s been a rocky road the last little bit, nothing particular has happened.  Though working weird hours and having hardly any energy has thrown things off for me.  I haven’t been doing any crafts or a whole lot of cooking.  About the only thing that I have been doing is going to sleep around 3am and sleeping in.  During this time I have started reading a book and it’s a page turner.  It’s sad to know that the only energy that I have had had allowed me to read.  One Monday I started walking on the treadmill again and hoping that will help build some energy and maybe stop me from being so worn out and lazy.  I’m looking forward to brighter days filled with movement and lots of smiles.

My Girly Girl has been playing softball and only has two more games left of the season.  Thank goodness I’ve been able to go and enjoy watching her play.  I also got the pleasure of taking their softball pictures, which I am thankful for.  I truly love capturing life through my camera lens.  Here are a couple of pictures…hope you enjoy.
